After six long years staring at this particular gem in sheer admiration, I am absolutely thrilled to finally add it to my collection.
In this cel Megatron looks truly fierce and truly evil with awesome shading. Fist clenched, he prepares himself for what will be his final battle with Optimus Prime, threatening him with "I'll crush you with my bare hands!"
Megatron has been and will always be a favorite of mine. I remember dreaming of owning the toy as a kid though for some reason my local toy store could never get him in. I never dreamed I would some day own such a fantastic work of art depicting this incredible villain so perfectly from a scene I so vividly remember watching 1,000 times over.
The background is non-matching but is a beautiful high quality movie background of Autobot city in ruins. In fact, those stairs are the ones Hotrod ran up to attempt to save Prime during the heated battle (see screenshot).
This background truly works perfectly with this cel and is deffinately suited to Megatron with destruction all around him!
